Ok guys and dolls, you know you've been hanging out for it: my reviews. Ok, ATM i got nothing but i'll think of something i promis! AHA! i will review the plastic cup i am now drinking out of.
THE BLUE PLASTIC CUP The cup is a blue plastic cup which holds about 300mL of liquid (not tested) and is not tall but wide. It is manufactured in Thiland by 'Dynaware' (i hear they are big in one of those 3rd-world countries) and it is dishwasher safe! A must for the modern-day family. Overall, this product is attractive yet not distracting; sturdy yet not non-giving (not movable); hygenic yet not 'hospital quality'. I say it's a worthy purchase! *Comes in 4-pack for around $20. RATING: 7/10

PEPSI
I haven't had Pepsi in ages, so the Pepsi i'm drinking now (out of yesterday's reviewed blue cup, no less) is tasting pretty good! Personally I prefer coke - and Vanilla Coke at that - but this is pretty good coz i haven't had either in about a month. The recommended serving size is 250mL, so I will go with that. It is giving an amazingly high 500kJ of energy! This is giving me a decent percentage of my daily required energy intake. 27.6grams of sugar is quite a bit, and the 2.5mg of sodium isn't helping either, although people do die if they don't have enough sodium i believe (in extreme cases). The presentation of it's trademark red, white and blue bottle is actually quite bland due to the promotion of a 'win & be "heap$ rich" ' competition. the competition is displayed on the back and is in simple black letters on a solid yellow background! This is design hell and the artist should be foreced to look at his crappy design job for the rest of his life! The taste is quick and bitey due to the carboration and sugar, and fades quickly, leaving little after-taste. Overall, this is an over-hyped product with some outragiously expensive marketing...... but it tasts good *Comes in 375mL can, 600mL, 1.25L and 2L bottles. Alternatives: Coke. 6/10

RenaultSport Clio 182 Cup Ok, Staker and the gang have been in it. It's small, but it's meant to be a 2-seater sportscar. Comfort is quite good in the two front seats, with many little adjustments which can be made to them. Engine-wise, it produces 200Nm of torque and 182BHP (131kw) and does 0-100 in 7sec flat. A Ford Boss V8 does it in around 6, so you can see it's pretty fast. It also ways about 500kg less! The torque us strong low down. We went up Goosberry Hill (from that roundabout) in 5th gear at like 2,500RPM! Believe me that's pretty good. But the magic really starts at 5,000. With a redline of 7,200, it gives 2grand of revs to get the power out and it flies when you do. After you push the go pedal 3/4 down, you're ok, but after that it clicks and you can floor it. When you floor it over 5,000 the computer changes the valve timing for max power and geeze does it go. When staker and I were in it on the way to paintballing dad never went over 4,000 and he was doing ok, pitty he didn't go up to 7 or so then you would have maybe been impressed. As it was it was pretty layed back. The car sits on Micheline 45's which is a pretty thin tyre. It has lowered suspention (because it's the cup model) and the suspention has been tightened (damper rate?) like 15% front and 20% rear, meaning it litterally slides (if at all) around corners. ESP (electronic stability program) prevents wheelspin from take-offs at the lights etc and for cornering, but can be turned on and off easily if you want a little fun. ABS and ABD (autmoatic break distribution) are standard, as is rain-sensing wipers and light-sensing xenon headlights. Full digital dash is good coz no shitty knobs (hmm that sounded bad). Gear shift is pretty good, but far forward (suits my dad with his short legs) and clutch is hard ATM but will take a while to wear-in i spoze. Gears are 5-speed (the Megan is 6-speed close-ratio) but this is decent to. Car will ACTUALLY DO a genuine 222km/h, but speedo reads a 250 max. Rev limiter is 7,200 but reads up to 8,000. There's a few little perks like the twin exhaust at the back which come out not under the car but through the rear. 16" mags are standard and hold the road well. A posative AND negative is the 'clio' badge on the back. it deterrs the cops, but then everyone thinks ur driving the crappy 1.6litre city-runner model not the 2L Sports version. Oh and it comes in a wicked F1-colour blue or an equally strange orange. You can get racing stripes that go the length of the car, from off-centre bonned over the roof to the tail. Looks good. Over-all (in my opinion AND pro car mag's/web site's opinions) this car is a winner. It's a pocket rocket with enough power to rival even some of the big boys. it's not far off the WRX as well. And for just $35 grand, it costs a lot less too. My score 9/10. It's nearly perfect. Maybe next year's model will be. TANG
